"My Father Late Dr. Hiralal Prasad was born in Yr.1932 & the fourth son of Late ThakurRam Kesharwani & Late Janaki Devi, a Zamindar family from Mirganj, Bihar. Although, he was from zamindar family but a self-made and ambitious right from his childhood.
His early education started from Mirganj and completed B.Sc. from Calcutta University. Thereafter, accomplished M.B.B.S from Patna Medical College in the year 1961. Started his career as specialized Physician & Surgeon in Bihar Govt. Hospital, a well renowned Civil Surgeon & Gazetted officer. Retired in Yr.1992 from Govt. of Bihar. He was a very religious person and had complete faith in God. Always a giver & supportive for poor. Left us on 11th July’2000.
My Mother Late Maya Devi, D/O Late Dr. Prem Chand & Late Radhika Devi were from Patna. She was married in the year 1960 & adjusted herself completely with her in-laws. She was a dedicated/caring housewife and a loving mother. Left us on 2nd Sep.’1984.

Kesharwanies existence from Kashmir to all over India. The main sources & work of kesharwanis was to produce keshar (Saffron) & it was their business. The business was spread all over the countries like China,Afghan, Egypt,Tibet , Unan & etc. "VANI" is a persian word which means "Goods Seller". The main homeland of keshawanis was north of India, Kashmir. The caste get famous due to their existence on the bank of river "Vasisht" which was later on known as "Shelam River". During the regime of King of Kashmir Harshadev & Jaisingh around the 200 years ago,the kesharis were very much famous from that period.
Keshar is a is a powerful spice high in antioxidants plant which is very high in value The plant never losses it existence, Charms & its flowers in the all seasons. The flower of the plant is very useful specially in making "Ayurvedic medicines".
During the war between King Jaisingh & Mohammed Nami Gajnabi in the Kashmir territorial areas `Shivpur`, The kesharis were decided to leave the area & departed in Mid night for Delhi, But unfortunately due to near area of Punjab the Pathans fear was always in their minds & for that they once again left the Delhi and moved towards EAST. During that period the King of Delhi was "PrithviRaj Chauhan".
The Kesharwanies were in great agonies and grief with hundred of their members moved to Prayag(Allahabad), near the bank of Ganges. Thereafter they managed to have their business & for peace they spread across no. of towns e.g Varansi , Mirzapur , Fathepur , Kanpur,Lucknow,Gorakhpur,Mirganj,Yusufpur,Itawah, Faizabad,Satna, Barely, Balliya,Rewa(M.P), Patna, Bengal, Jabalpur, Sagar & etc. The total no. of current kesharwanis family worldwide is approx. 10,00,000.
